Introduction

 

MDV-T Dual line metering valve is a modular plate-type metering valve independently developed by WEIDUN, specially designed for dual-line centralized grease lubrication systems. With a nominal pressure up to 31.5MPa, it features split combined plate structure, supporting 6–12 lubrication outlets, and multiple single-point displacement options to match different lubrication demands of friction points.

 

This product has excellent rust resistance, and optional indicator rod / proximity switch monitoring to realize real-time tracking of piston working status. It is not approved for explosive atmospheres or hazardous locations, widely applied in mining machinery, construction equipment, port machinery, metallurgical equipment and automated factory production lines. The modular combination design allows flexible on-site matching without custom valve blocks, greatly reducing inventory and delivery cycle costs.

FAQ

 

Q1: Can MDV-T adjust the single-point grease output volume?

A1: Yes. The discharge volume of each outlet is determined by the piston plate. You only need to replace the piston plate with different displacement specifications to change the single-point oil supply volume, no need to replace the entire distributor body.

Q2: When commissioning for the first time, inlet has pressure but no grease flows out of outlets, how to troubleshoot?

A2: 1. Check whether the inlet connector has built-in check valve, replace unobstructed standard joint;
2. Verify the outlet check valve is installed in correct direction;
3. Disassemble the end screw plug and push stuck piston to the bottom for exhaust;
4. Disassemble piston plate to clean dirt and cured grease causing piston jamming;
5. Do not seal both outlets of one metering unit with screw plugs at the same time.

Q3: What lubricants are forbidden for MDV-T distributor?

A3: Grease mixed with graphite, supramoly, calcium carbonate, calcium hydroxide or graphene is prohibited. Hard particles will accelerate piston and seal abrasion, leading to frequent blockage; products using graphene-containing grease only enjoy half the original warranty period.

Q4: What is the regular maintenance cycle?

A4: Daily observe the movement of indicator rod to judge normal oil supply; clean internal pistons and replace aging O-rings every 3–6 months according to dust, temperature and humidity of working conditions. When replacing different types of grease, fully disassemble and clean all plates to avoid grease mixing failure.
