Wind generators operate all year round in harsh outdoor conditions, featuring wide temperature fluctuation (-40℃~75℃), heavy dust, offshore salt spray, and unattended running. Key lubrication targets include pitch bearings, yaw bearings, main bearings and gearbox brake parts. The WDS-I pump is perfectly designed for wind power centralized lubrication systems, compatible with NLGI 0#~2# grease. Greases containing graphite, MoS₂, calcium carbonate or graphene are strictly prohibited to avoid component wear and system blockage.

Equipped with forced start button for manual test lubrication at any time. Typical Wind Power System Configuration
- Hub Pitch Lubrication System DC24V WDS-I pump with pressure plate oil tank, E-type controller (timing control + low-level alarm), single outlet matched with QXV-XL modular single-line distributors for 3 sets of pitch bearings.
- Nacelle Yaw & Main Bearing System AC220V/380V WDS-I pump with scraper plate oil tank, 2–3 outlets. One branch feeds QXV distributor group for yaw bearings and gear rings, other branches independently supply main bearing and generator bearing lubrication.
- Pipeline Layout Standard Rigid steel/bright annealed copper tubes for fixed nacelle sections; high-pressure flexible hoses with sufficient bending radius for rotating hub parts. Standard ferrule fittings ensure tight connection without leakage.
System Working Flow
- Set lubrication cycle parameters (interval & running time) on the pump control panel according to wind turbine maintenance specifications.
- The motor drives the eccentric wheel to make the plunger reciprocate, pressurizing grease and delivering it to QXV single-line distributors via main pipelines.
- Each pressure build-up & pressure relief cycle drives distributors to discharge fixed volume grease to every bearing lubrication point, with indicator rods to visually confirm normal output.
- Once the preset pump runtime finishes, the pump stops and system pressure releases automatically. If low grease level, pipeline blockage or pressure abnormality occurs, the controller triggers corresponding fault codes and transmits alarm signals to the wind turbine control cabinet.
Maintenance & Safety Specifications
- Daily inspection items: Check pump pressure gauge reading, distributor indicator rod movement, pipeline joint leakage and tank grease level.
- Complete overhaul every 6–12 months: Dismantle pump plunger assembly, clean all internal parts with clean diesel oil, replace aging O-rings and oil seals. The piston and piston sleeve are lapped matched pairs and cannot be interchanged between different pump units.
- Do not mix different types of lubricants; solid lubricant additives are only allowed with prior technical confirmation from WEIDUN.
- WDS-I pump is not certified for explosive hazardous areas. All electrical wiring must be completed by professional technicians to avoid short circuit or signal failure.
