Project Background & Original Lubrication Pain Points
Modern feed production lines consist of pellet mills, raw material mixers, screw conveyors and bucket elevators, running 8–16 hours daily under severe working conditions: heavy dust from grain powder, high humidity from steam conditioning, continuous mechanical vibration and fluctuating ambient temperatures ranging from cold storage to 75°C granulation zones. Factories relying on manual grease guns face multiple critical problems:
- Uneven manual greasing leads to dry friction of roller bearings, main shafts and chain sprockets, triggering frequent bearing seizure and unplanned production halts.
- Excessive grease overflows pollutes feed raw materials, causing product waste and quality risks.
- Narrow, high-mounted lubrication points are hard to reach, increasing maintenance labor and safety hazards for operators.
- No real-time monitoring; pipeline blockage or low grease level can only be discovered after equipment breakdown, raising repair costs significantly.
Custom WDS-I Automatic Lubrication Matching Scheme
We deployed the integrated WDS-I piston lubrication pump with built-in programmable controller for each core feed machine, with flexible configuration for different production capacities:
Pump Model Matching
- Small mixers & single screw conveyors: WDS-I with 2L/4L grease tank, 1–2 outlets
- Medium pellet mills & twin-shaft conditioners: WDS-I with 6L/8L grease tank, 3–4 outlets
- Large full-line granulating hosts: WDS-I with 12L/15L grease tank, up to 5 outlets
Power Supply Options
Support DC24V, AC220V and two-phase AC380V to seamlessly connect with standard feed plant electrical cabinets.
Supporting Accessories
Equipped with progressive distributors, low-oil-level proximity sensors and pressure monitoring switches to form a closed-loop automatic lubrication system.
Core Product Advantages Adapted to Feed Plant Environments
- IP65 Fully Sealed Housing Dustproof and waterproof design blocks feed powder, steam and moisture from entering internal components, effectively preventing piston jamming and circuit short-circuiting in dusty feed workshops.
- Wide Operating Temperature Range (-40°C ~ 75°C) Stable performance works for both cold raw material warehouses and high-temperature pelletizing sections without grease solidification or pump performance attenuation.
- Programmable Intelligent Control Panel Freely adjust running time (6s–99.9min) and interval cycle (6min–99.9h) to match different equipment loads: short cycles for high-load pellet rollers, long cycles for light-load conveying chains. A one-key forced start function supports emergency supplementary lubrication before production shifts.
- Multi-Fault Early Warning System Built-in monitoring modules detect low grease level, pipeline blockage, motor overload and abnormal pressure, displaying unique fault codes on the panel and triggering alarm signals for timely troubleshooting. Power failure data backup retains all lubrication schedules to avoid disorder after power recovery.
- Stable High-Pressure Output Max working pressure reaches 35MPa with a 28MPa built-in relief valve, delivering stable grease to long-distance lubrication points without insufficient oil supply under heavy vibration. It fits NLGI 0#–2# lithium grease commonly used in feed machinery.
- Modular Multi-Outlet Design 1–5 independent oil outlets connect separate distributors, realizing centralized lubrication for bearings, gears and transmission chains simultaneously without complex split pipelines.
Actual On-site Operation Benefits
1. Labor Cost Reduction: Eliminate daily manual greasing work; maintenance workload for lubrication is cut by over 80%.
2. Stable Equipment Operation: Bearing and transmission failure rate drops by more than 70%, greatly reducing unexpected shutdown losses and spare part replacement expenses.
3. Feed Quality Improvement: Precise quantitative oil supply avoids grease overflow and raw material contamination, meeting strict feed food safety standards.
4. Low Maintenance Frequency: The fully sealed pump body resists dust erosion, extending service life; the detachable pump element allows quick disassembly and cleaning without professional tools.
5. Visualized Equipment Management: Real-time fault and low-oil alerts help maintenance staff locate problems rapidly, shortening equipment inspection time every day.
